Woodbury is equally impressive as an actress, comfortable and believable as people of different sexes, ages, and ethnicities. Among the more memorable characters are Skeeter, a model of a stoner eloquence who's smitten with Santa Cruz rave girls Clove and Sable; and Violet, an elderly woman who (in a highlight of the evening that could be pulled out of context as a perfect monologue or short story) tells her cleaning lady about how she once wished to make a room in her house that would represent jazz.
