THE STORY
Margarita Happy Hour is a darkly funny story about cigarette-smokin', cocktail-swilling hipsters, single motherhood, and the cycles of life...
Zelda is a young unmarried mother whose once fiery romance with her boyfriend Max is on the rocks. She is desperate to remain the sexy young scene-queen that once melted Max's heart, that her friends idolized, that even Iggy Pop lusted after. He is a charming, scoundrel poet who is not prepared to live up to his role as the 90's dad.
Zelda's only escape lies in her regular Happy Hour rendezvous with a bunch of young moms who jabber uninhibitedly about life, death, and lactation. When an irreversible incident occurs, Zelda is shaken into reality and forced to decide whether to move forward or remain trapped by her routine.
